My Passion

I have been inspired by photography since the mid-1970s. Every time I hold a camera to my eye, I’m seeking the natural look: exploring the texture, form, colour and composition of the natural world. I favor panoramas because a standard photo never seems enough – something is always missing! With a panorama, you catch the full extent and power of the image. But unlike with a fisheye lens, there’s little or less distortion. So that sun-tinged billowing cloud, or twisted branch, or ice-blue lake water, carries its full impact and emotion. The ultimate compliment you can pay me is to say: “that’s just like being there”.

My Expertise

My panoramas consist of up to 15 shots, electronically “stitched together” seamlessly to form a single, sweeping image. For me, this studio work and printing is an integral part of the creative process. It’s where you bring the initial vision to reality. That’s why I am committed to using the latest studio technology. When you purchase one of my works, you can be assured I’ve personally produced the print, on quality photographic paper that will last a hundred years or more, so long as it’s kept out of direct sunlight. I want you (or the recipient) to get a lifetime of pleasure from it!
